AURDA (Analysis and Understanding of Resource Data Application)
The AURDA Reporting Project arose out of the national Mental Health Classification And Outcomes Study (NZ-CAOS). The CAOS study was highly technical and complicated, and it was agreed that an easy-to-use, interactive, and graphical reporting tool would enable the seven participating DHBs to better understand their costs and client outcomes.
The reporting tool was created in Access 2002 (VBA) and distributed to the seven DHBs along with a cleaned CAOS dataset. A meeting was held after the first release and a series of conclusions reached.
